Minted

Oh my goodness, it has been a crazy few weeks! My house is in shambles as I'm trying to get everything packed for our move in 2 1/2 weeks! What!? Time is passing too quickly. However, I felt like I've been a little quiet over here so I wanted to share with you one of my very favorite websites.

One thing you have to know about me is that I am ALWAYS in the middle of planning a party... or thinking about planning a party. Actually, one of my life goals is to host a HUGE charity ball. I have no idea when or where this will be, but it's on my bucket list! Anyways, one thing I am always needing is invites. Birthday invites, Brunch invites, BBQ invites, EVERYTHING invites and this is the place I go.

MINTED.COM (www.minted.com) has the cutest paper products. Party invites, Art prints, Christmas Cards, Easter Cards, Wedding Invites...everything you can think of. And they are ALL adorable and affordable. Hundreds of graphic designers submit their work so there is a little something for everyone.

Here's an art print I just ordered for Sarah's room. SUPER EXCITED!

Why a Bee?

I have had multiple people ask me why I chose a bee as my logo. It's a bug for goodness sake!
I actually thought long and hard about what I wanted my logo to be like. I wanted it to be symbolic and fun, but not so "cutesy" that I couldn't do weddings and other serious photographical things.... was that a word?

I researched logos for hours, but always seemed to come back to the Honey Bee.

Fun fact about bees. In the course of their lifetime, a worker bee will produce only 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey. Crazy!

Bees signify activity, productivity,  social life, happiness and success in love.  They also symbolize accomplishing the impossible. Bees are brave, industrious, clean, harmonious, aesthetically gifted and work towards a common goal. They fiercely protect their home and families, with their lives if need be.

Believe it or not, this small insect sets an example for me, my business and my life. They work hard and in doing so create something sweet and special for others to enjoy.

So why did I choose a bee?

Because I am a hard worker. And because in working hard at what I do, I create something special and sweet for others to enjoy. It might not be much, but it's my dream and it is what I love.

Have a BEEutiful week!

Mark & Nicole's Wedding

I did this wedding back in December! Has it really been three months? Time just flies by! I wanted to share some of my favorites from their wedding. It was so fun getting to run around downtown Boston and capture their special day.

M + N,

Thank you OH so much for allowing me to capture your wonderful wedding day.
You guys were so easy, beautiful, fun and perfect.
May the Lord shower you with blessings on your new journey as husband and wife!
Cheers to you two!
