I am funky, spunky and LOVE everything vintage and country. You will always find me in antique stores, second hand stores and peoples' basements looking for a new find or project. I am just like my mother, who is awesome... so I guess I'm awesome?.... Anyway, I grew up in the Air Force and have lived many exotic places like Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Iceland and Norway... ok only the last two are slightly exotic. Was it hard to move so often you ask? No. I loved it. I got to see so many places and meet so many amazing people. It is also what sparked my love for photography.
I met my hunky husband at college (BYU-Idaho) my VERY FIRST SEMESTER. I was 18 years old. Yikes! We met second day of classes and eloped 3 months later. I've never looked back and have never been happier. He is my prince charming. That sweet girl you see pictured below is our 1 year old daughter Sarah. She likes to tag along with me on shoots and is just the light of my life. She is sassy, funny, loving, crazy and perfect. We adore her.
Let's see. What else would you want to know about your future photographer... I am a diet coke addict. I stay up WAY to late. Snuggling with my husband and drinking hot cocoa is one of my favorite things to do in the evenings. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I am a Mormon. I want to live in the country one day, in a cozy cottage with a big chimney. I love what I do. Capturing special moments for people is what makes me feel fulfilled.
So what am I? A wedding photographer? A portrait photographer? A poser? A lifestyle photographer? In all honesty, I am a little bit of everything. I'm just a girl who enjoys documenting other's life moments while artistically putting my own spin on things.
